Schumann for the Gewandthaus Orchestra
Rasmussen has accepted a commission from maestro Riccardo Chailly, music director of the Gewandthaus Orchestra, Leipzig, to create an orchestral version of Schumann's pianowork "Papillons", op. 2. The work will be first performed in 2010 and brought on tour in Europe.
