"Der Taucher" in Stuttgart

On the 6th of January 2009 Bo Skovhus will give the first German performance of Karl Aage Rasmussen's orchestral version of Schuberts melodrama "Der Taucher" with the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra conducted by Michael Hofstetter. This huge lied (with a duration of more than 20 minutes) is based on Schillers famous poem and was composed by the 17 year old Schubert in 1814. The performance takes place in the Liederhaus, Beethovenhalle.
